01. Sketch
My main tools for sketching are my mechanical pencil and my Tombow eraser. I start with the character and the pose. Then I add the background and extras.
For lineart, I like to use 0.3 and 0.4 liners for medium lines. For thicker lines, I use my 0.7 liner. I usually keep my lineart process short.
Before I start coloring, I usually pick 4-6 main colors that I will use in the painting. I like to put stronger colors in the foreground. And color the background with more tame colors. Then I add the final touches.
